Elliots car comments...

Elliot and I seem to be having our best and most interesting discussions on our drive to Ebenezer in the mornings. Yesterday morning he was inquiring about our Australian friends James and Sarah(why I have no idea). He asked me if James and Sarah got married in Australia and I said yes. Next question-Did they live in the desert? My answer-No it was just really hot where they lived. Third question-Did they see all of the mommys there? My answer-Whos Mommys? Next Question- You know the legendary ones..the legendary mommys? It finally dawns on me that he means mummys not mommys. I say you mean mummys. He says yes the mummys live int he desert. We were watching the history channel the other day and the were talking about mummys and Egypt. Oh man, how things connect in his head I am not sure but he is way smarter than I!! I love how little brains work it is truly a wonder.

Grace at Trader Joes..

To you who know Grace you will understand my morning when I say we were definetly having a Grace day from the moment we woke up this morning. Nothing was going the way she wanted and she wasn't going to let me get away with it which led to a lot of coaxing and compromising. Thankfully a very kind trader joes clerk took pity on me and offered Grace a cart that was just her size. This was amazing. She was so happy and I was able to get my shopping done. Her outfit consists of ballet leotard tights and legwarmers along with her slippers that are on in the inside of her boots and her winter coat. She was very popular in the story because many people were pointing and giggling at her little getup (shes a trendsetter what can I say). She kept on saying Mommy they are my new friends. I love this girl she is a complete vision of how I wish I could approach the world with no worries but my own.

Sledding with the Enertsons.

We had so much fun today sledding with the Enertsons. Even though I am not feeling quite up to par it was worth the exhaustion to get everyone dressed for the snow. We went to the hill behind Lynden Middle School which brought back a lot of memories for me. We love our neighbors and hope we can have another sledding adventure sometime soon.

Legoland

Elliot got three new lego sets for Christmas. Here is a picture of the one he most recently finished its a dinosaur set that can made into three different dinosaurs. Thanks to all who gave legos it is really helping me survive the last week of Christmas Break.
