The Angry Blueberry Strikes Again.

I catered a surprise birthday party on Friday night. It was an appetizer party for 26. It was so much fun, I love feeding people. I didn't have time to take pictures of everything. The two pictures are of chicken satay and calypso shrimp.

Lighted Christmas Parade.

As many of you know we attend "the little white church with the big heart" aka Lynden Community Church, this year we had the opportunity to sing carols before the parade started with some other members. Other than the rain it was so much fun.

I know this is a little late....Thanksgiving

I didn't really take that many pictures on Thanksgiving. My mom cooked a 23lb bird it looked lie it was on steroids(it tasted amazing). We played games and ate way to much.

Our christmas card...

I need email addresses for whoever may want our Christmas Card this year. Some may want to criticize (such as my Dad who says I am put postal workers out of business) but I think it is quite green and economically responsible. So like I said let me know if you would like one and you may just see some pics and videos that didn't make it to the blog.

Things I Am Thankful For...

I am so filled with thankfulness this year it is hard to even express. This year has been full of firsts. First family vacation, first day of school, first day of preschool, riding without training wheels, riding a trike, first camping trip(s) with the kids, first year without diapers in 5 years and first time for me to have both kids in school sometimes at the same time. Some of these firsts have brought tears but all of them have brought smiles. I sometimes have felt like I am riding a bike without training wheels for the first time as I am watching both kids grow into their own little people I have to admit it is extremely hard at times to let go. I feel like everyday I am learning more and more what it means to love and to care and most of this I learn from a 3 and 5 year old. God is so good to us and he continues to bless us daily. It seems like every year is full of more and more to be thankful for I can't wait to see what God has in store for the next. I hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!

Spike the Turkey

Elliot had to decorate a turkey drawing for class to be displayed in the office. We started decorating him in what Elliot calls spike balls but ran out of hot glue so we finished him in glitter.
