Team Bajema

Our friends Sarah and Justin got married this weekend and Brian and I were both in the wedding. We had so much fun!!! It was truly the most relaxed wedding I have ever been a part of and was a great reflection of they are. The wedding and reception were absolutely breathtaking, I wish I would have taken more pictures with my camera that were just of the venue. Sarah looked gorgeous her dress was just perfect. Here are a few pics of us hanging around.

Spring Recital

So it is that time again, spring recital tickets are on sale. Grace will be performing on June 13th. i am not sure what time yet???? TIckets are $8 each and I can pick them up for you just let me know who wants what. Don't feel obligated to go I know it is not a lot of fun. We will be there though and so will Miss Grace in a bright purple costume:)

Pig Latin and Such?

So as many of you know my Elliot is highly advanced(room for gagging and eye rolling here)? Just kidding. He is very smart though. Anyway, he now can spell words and read them, so Brian and I spelling things to eachother is no longer effective. Bummer I know many of you parents have relied on this as well and can probably feel my pain in this matter. Well Mommy and Daddy have gotten smart and pushed back into our youth only to pull out our Pig Latin. hats-tay ight-ray olks-fay, ig-pay atin-lay. I know lame right, well it works and we are sticking to it until that no longer works.
Heres a new pic of my always refreshing Elliot he cracks me up. He informed that this is the way you get around cold toes if you want to wear flip flops. I informed him this was a major fashion violation.

Easter Sunday

Today was so much fun!! We woke up got ready for church. On Easter Sunday we have breakfast before the service at church...it was pretty yummy with pancakes, egg casserole and biscuits and gravy. After church we went to Grandma and Grandpa Boats and had lunch which was also yummy! It was enjoyable time with family and friends. Next we went to Granny and Grannys Grandpas for an Egg Hunt and a picnic style dinner which was also yummy. It was so much fun to be together with all of our favorite people all in one day. The kids also cooperated and took a cute picture together for me...bet you can't tell they are brother and sister:)

Seattle Science Center

Friday and Saturday marked the end of our spring break fun. We headed to Seattle on Friday with Grandma Boat and stayed over night at Embassy Suites. We swam ate yummy food at Whole Foods and had lots of fun. We woke up on Sunday morning and enjoyed breakfast together. We had planned on going to the zoo on Saturday but the weather didn't cooperate so we had to take a vote on Plan B. We decided on the Science Center. This was a great choice. There was so much to do and see and touch. We saw a planetarium show and eave got to go inside a butterfly house it was so fun! Thanks Grandma for the fun times:)

Mommies Days and a Day with Granny!!

Today was nothing short of awesome:) We woke up snuggled and watched toons,Grandma Boat brought us coffee and italian sodas and just took the morning as it came.
Around 11 my mom took the kiddies and Melly and I headed out for an afternoon without kids:) Now don't get me wrong this week has been awesome having the kids home we have had so much fun but a mom still needs to get out of the house with her best girlfriend and have some chill time. For it really is true if Mamas HAPPY every one is HAPPY. We started out with some coffee, then headed for pedicures(oh and how lovey they were) next we went for lunch at Chiuauas Mexican Restaurant(this also lovely)then we went for spray tans (a little cold but still lovely) next we went back to Mellys and took the dog for a walk and lastly we spent sometime crocheting and chatting(believe it or not we still had a lot to chat about. I am so lucky to have my same best friend from eighth grade she is my true bosom buddy and I wouldn't trade her for the world:)
The kids had an equally awesome day with my mom, coloring Easter Eggs and playing in the yard. My parents connected a new slide to their playhouse so that was a large highlight and there are big plans to turn it into a mini waterslide this summer...I don't know if I should be excited or nervous about this.
We all ended enjoying a mini BBQ with Granny and Grannys Grandpa at our house.
I also ran tonight woohoo I ran almost 2 out of the 3 miles I set out to do. Its going to take time to build my endurance back up but I am hoping to run the chuckanut footrace so I will be praying for this lots as I am running.
