SO just to anyone who was wondering as of now Birch Bay Beaches are closed to all clam harvesting for the next year!! Just fyi in case you decide to dig a bucket of clams and bring them home but as you leave the beach you see a sign that says toxic shellfish:( We had fun anyway and are prepared for clamming at Padilla Bay next month!
