Bonnies Birthday Party

So I forgot my camera if you can believe it however Bonnies stepmom Angela took some pictures and sent them to me! We had a fun day BBQing, making new friends and learning new games.

Mayberrys IQF

On my birthday we were able to take the kids on a field trip with Auntie Melly and Darby. We went to Maberrys IQF where they freeze and process the raspberries. We all had to wear hairnets and visitor passes which the kids loved. Mellys Dad Allen took us on a tour and he was so nice to take his time to show Elliot all of the different machines even taking the time to explain what each one was doing. Elliot said this is awesome which is his stamp of approval. Thanks so much Allen (my second Dad).

Lighted Motorcycle Parade

SO we kept our kids up really late on Friday night to try and catch a lighted motorcycle parade in town. I am not sure if waiting until 9:30 was really worth it but the kids did enjoy it!

The kids thought of a lot of things that would entertain us for the evening....Grace will turn anything into an accessory!

Lake Chelan Waterslides

We went to the waterslides in Lake Chelan. Unfortunately I didn't really take any pictures of us on the slides because we were all on them so the camera really couldn't come along!

Hike to the Top of the Mountain!!

Alta Lake is surrounded by small mountains. My Dad has been wanting to tackle the largest one for quite some time so BJ and I decided to make his dream come true!! As I was climbing I was thinking what am I doing because it was straight up for 2-3 miles:( Beautiful from the top though and fun times had by all!

Elliots First Fish!!

I don't know who was more proud of Elliot's fish Brian Elliot or my Dad!! But here it its a beauty or as Elliot says its a keeper!

Windy Day at the Beach and the Kids Needed Shelter!

Mom crafted a cabana for the kids complete with recliners and snacks!! Brian also built a retaining wall out of lake rock to block waves from entering!

One word...HOT!!!

It was so nice and hot at Alta lake we spent a lot of time in the water and the rest of the time having snacks! Elliot mastered swimming with ease in his lifejacket!! Grace was at her finest as usual our resident princess could not have one spec of sand on her toes, however she wouldn't wear her shoes????? GO Figure!

Leaving for Alta Lake

So as cheesy as it is we are always so amazed by how much our car can hold. My Dad made us a bike rack so that we could haul our bikes on vacation with us...Thanks Dad!

A day at Lake Samish with the McMurtrys

What an absolutely fabulous day. A beautiful Washington sunny day at about 80 degrees with nothing better to do than have a picnic and enjoy the cool water with good friends. The kids swam played on the playground and munched on a delicious picnic lunch. In the pictures are Elliot, Grace, Savannah, Shavonne, Sarah and the new baby McMurtry to be (due in 7 weeks):)

Winthrop with the Langstraats

We spent Saturday and Sunday in Winthrop with Uncle Matt, Auntie Melly, Darby and Winnie Cooper. What a fun two days relaxing in the sun. Darby also got to experience princess dress up for the first time with Grace!! Grace also got car sick on the way home so we got to experience our first throw up in the car Elliot was mortified:(

Fourth of July

Fourth of July we spent at my parents as usual. It was so much fun. My friend Amy from work came up with her husband and two boys as well. We went fishing, played in the grass, sat by the fire, had a BBQ and watched fireworks. Good food, good friends, good times! Thanks mom and dad for hosting it was a blast:)
